From Athens- The return of Mike Bobo was created by yankeedawg1
Good afternoon all,

The return of Coach Bobo as our OC.  This will definitely rekindle some old and not so kind memories for some Dawg fans.

A short research trip of Dawg.com postings from when Mike was OC under CMR will find references to Bozo the clown for his play calling namely his 3rd down draw plays.

After winning B2B Natties.. CKS could have named Beth as our OC….  Kirby has earned the right to make the hiring choices he wants. 

Time changes all of us.. hopefully for the better… Bobo  V2.0.  I  am starting with a clean slate.  Wishing CMB much success… as Coach Monk travels to Baltimore…thanks for your efforts in bringing 2 Natties to Athens.

One thing about it we don’t have a say in the matter, but I thought he did a good job with the offense overall, but yes he did have one play he liked to call for whatever reason that got under folks  skin.  Hopefully that tendency is gone!

YD1, I remember the old days and the nickname. He took the heat for a lot of his doings that turned out less than good. I am as suprised as anyone to see this news.

Kirby has earned a wide berth in his team building strategies.
He is the leader and Bobo will fit in where CKS puts him. Then we will see what " Bobo  V2.0" looks like.
For winning the Natty give every Dawg a bone AND prime rib steak.

Boss Dawg and KD,

Most definitely it will be interesting to watch Bobo V2.0 …

Kirby watched Bobo’s coaching for as long as he has been coaching.

Kirby puts people in positions to succeed… if they don’t he cuts them loose very quickly…. Jim Chaney ring any bells

It is the slow season.

But coming off back to back national titles certainly makes for a more pleasant spring.
