From Athens- Game Day Friday#7 15-10-21

Good Day All,

Game seven …. Home against the only other undefeated team in the SEC….

We find that team to be Kentucky. Weird is an understatement… but Kudos to Coach Stoops who truly has done very well developing a creditable program in Lexington…..

To me this game is very much like our home game with the Hogs …. Game Day in Athens then and now for our game with Kentucky … the sports media is claiming..again..…. If the stars and planets align an upset is again possible just like they said about Arkansas…. Didn’t happened…. thank you

As I said then and I will repeat myself … possible yes … probable… not so much…… this same line is going to be used by the talking heads before each game we play for the rest of this season…. It also was tossed about this past Saturday as we played Assburn on the road….. it didn’t work … nope

We will win Saturday … better players … better depth … home stadium … HC called fans to be elite again…. They will …… we cover point spread.

My logic here is we beat Assburn on the road by 24 ….

Same reasons … Kentucky just like every other team we have played … has not practiced or played against a defensive effort like the Dawgs put on the field…. Stressed offense leads to having your defense having to play more and defend a short field …

Again who ever we start at QB … . Meh ….. I am good with HC decision…….


Sidebar…. Much has been said about SB4 roll as our starting QB …… this is not a defense of his talent or lack thereof….

It is an acknowledgment of our OC and his game plans for each of our opponents this season…..based on what players are available….

Think of our previous OC’s ….. I dare say we would not enjoyed the success we have…this season…

Growl …. Grandson has asked for Grandmother's Cheeseburger & Mac casserole …. Broccoli slaw..

What Grandson wants Grandma to cook is always what Grandma cooks, as for our household tomorrow its going to be White Chicken Chili and Mommas Cornbread. Mom is 96 and still likes to make Cornbread for her boy, I'm so Lucky, yum yum!

Loves white chicken chili…. Wife adds diced green chilies along with small diced jalapeños…

She been known to slip both of these into the cornbread
