From Athens- Game Day Friday#6 08-10-21

Good Day All,

We have made it to game six… half way point of our regular season …. As the media and our HC have pointed out this is our first true SEC road game of the season… as Vandy was a home game played in Nashville … true...the atmosphere in Jordan-Hare will be much more hostile …

CKS made the point that 50% of our current roster hasn’t played under the conditions they will face on Saturday….. as in 2020 all our games were played to reduced sized crowds because of Covid-19…….

Sidebar ….. If 50% don’t have this experience … that in my mind means…that there are 50% that do…. Me thinks Bo Nix will get to meet several of them up close and very personal…. on Saturday…..

I believe our coaches will have our Dawgs focused and ready to play…. Don’t see us slowing down…. Home crowd won’t make up for Dawgs having better players and quality depth….

Look for Dawgs to take the crowd out of the game early ……. defense causes a turnover…. Pick 6 sounds good….

Kirby will decide what is best …. on who starts at QB …. SB4 had his best game of 2020 against Assburn...

Dawgs win and cover…

Growl …. Wife is making chicken carnitas with coleslaw …. Plenty of cold IPA’s.

For those degenerate gamblers out there, here's a pro tip - Vegas is STILL not believing in this Dawg team. -14.5 is a juicy line on this game. Remember, they only had us as an -18.5 favorite against Arky and I said that was juicy, and the Dawgs utterly shamed Vegas on the Hogs game. Well, here we go again:-14.5 is easy money. No way, no how, in no world do the dawgs not cover a -14.5 spread against Auburn. When the Dawgs come out and do it again, Vegas will not take the second embarrassment in a row lightly and I predict this will be the very last game we get these stupid easy spreads. They'll get a lot harder from here on out.
