What Now

I am about at the end of my proverbial rope, and left with more questions than answers for this program.

1. We have the HC most , including me,pushed for! Where did he go?

2. We have the huge OL we wanted! Are there no athletes amoung them?

3. Are we to believe that this team is as bad as what we saw Saturday?

4. Can the Dawgs get out of this funk in time to save the season?

I'm wondering about all of that too.....And,

Coaching gaffs at the end of games, poor clock management, predictable play calling, and questions about the psyche and focus of the team.

No question that the Gamecocks were fired up and ready to play.... Why weren't we..?

What about the 2nd half bounce back...? It was missing, except for the one drive.

Losing a headscratcher of a game every year is not a pattern we want to continue....but it has.

Through thick or thin, lose or win, I'll always be a Dawg....but damn, that was hard to swallow on Saturday.

Especially after a Cock-a-doodle-do text from my daughter....She's a Gamecock....and deep down, she's as shocked as I am.

C'est la Vie.....

I do not get the clock mismanagement. Seems like it should be Coaching 101 and so many have so much trouble with it. Combination of 1) getting greedy and 2) getting too cuter/overthinking.

What now is we line up and whip the next team on the schedule.

We're still a sight better than we were before under Richt.

Don't know what to say about Kirby other than he has some faults.. Sometimes overthinks in critical moments... sometimes under-thinks in preparation, just imagining we can go out and physically impose our will on everyone.

We've got to get more creative on offense. What I saw Saturday looked like high school level play calling and scheme: So incredibly unimaginative...
