Kirbycoptor was flying across Georgia visiting recruits,,,,, imho we will see at least two more big names commit on NSD.,,,,
Looking forward to seeing new and old faces embrace the upcoming season....
Sorry to see some assistant coaches depart.... wish them well and thanks for your efforts,,,,, nothing wrong about advancements in your career.
Interesting that it did not take the HC any length of time to find and hire replacements that he had a work experience with.
Short learning curve for them to get up to speed on what the Boss is looking for..... a very good thing
Glad that Jay Johnson is aboard for another season..... need to keep Kevin Butler.... changed our kicking game to a asset from a large liability.... fact
Talent and coaching,,,,, year three,,,,, the journey continues ....
Pause and give thanks
Have a great weekend and a safe week
As always "Go Dawgs"

The rest of the country is learning what Georgia fans already know: Isaiah Wynn is one heck of an offensive lineman.

Many recent changes in our football program have been rewarding at this point. Simply means that the "Process" is alive and well in Athens.

Anyone that follows Dawgs.com knows that Wynn was praised and followed closely right out of high school. Isaiah is a "football player" . . . . NFL will love this young man. Another young man from Florida that chose to play in Georgia.

So proud of Wynn.. we moved him around a lot and he initially struggled a bit when we moved him to tackle, but he came around quickly after mastering the footwork necessary to block on the edge. Most NFL scouts see him as someone who will move inside to guard and quite frankly I think he will dominate for years there if he does. He’s got the size to play inside.. he is a great run blocker, and he is very mobile with thw footwork he learned playing tackle. He can drive block, and pull, moving quite well if drafted by a team that employs zone blocking technique <cough Falcons cough>.
Actually the Falcons are a great fit as they desperately need two guards to play along side Mack at center. Regardless of where he goes though, he has a great career in front of him.
Just for the record... Sat beside another great UGA lineman, Jon Stinchcomb, last night at the Gladiators hockey game.
God Bless and Go Dawgs
