From Athens- Friday Thoughts

Good Morning All,

The weather has been nothing short of outstanding this week…upper to mid 70’s blue sunny skies….. I am enjoying getting outside again….

All is quite on campus as the pups are tossing metal and running…. Did notice where S&C coaches had the team out in the last rain we had….

Just to keep them exposed to adverse weather…a good thing….

I like the fact that there is no chatter from players or coaches about
Anything…. Focused on the task at hand… improvement and depth…
It has not gone unnoticed by myself and others that CKS has kept a low
profile with no trash talk….. l like it a lot…. I would have been surprised and disappointed had he pulled a Muschimp ……. Boasting about beating this or that team… bush league IMO….

Flurry of comments about CKS and having us be like Bama…
I have posted that I believe CKS has many of CNS teachings to call from and use..some without any changes mostly will have his own ideas blended in to apply to what our needs here at Georgia are….

He understands that Athens can’t become Tuscaloosa East….and we have a different fan base mentality than the Tide….

Coach is working on refining the fan base also…..

Question came up about how the Row and our AD will feel about grey shirting players as Bama has done in the past….

Don’t see this as a pressing problem for the next several recruiting cycles….and I would be willing to wager that there has already been conversation between Prez,AD and HC…… If NCAA steps in I don’t see us recruiting outside the rules….. much too much to risk….

This coming Tuesday football returns and Thursday is the wearing of the green…..

Green Beer will flow in Savannah…….. Party hearty ……

"Spring Forward" has never been more meaningful!!!

CKS and Company are UNDEFEATED and have my full and impassioned support! I care very little for the endless minutia of prognostication. We will see what our trajectory will be on 09/03/16. I like what I've read thus far, but I'm fully aware of the empty cupboard left for Kirby to rebuild and reorganize.

As for the eternally tanned, bible man,....thanks, best of luck, buh-bye, don't let the screen door hit ya where "you know who" split ya!...Perhaps fortunes will smile upon the Dawg Nation and allow a future meeting between our Dawgs and the U,...until then, I'm done!

To that end I say,....

yd1, opened up and said some things that bother me, gave it some thought and erased a rather lengthy post.

Sometimes it is hard for me to accept what I read on other sites.

Dawgs.com has a steady group of posters, most on the same page or close to being on the same page.

Need a little time to mull over the "stuff" going on in my gray matter.
