Have to believe the deal has already been made for the next head coach. Always the bookkeeping matters that have to be taken care of. Numbers and years are a huge part of contracts this day and time.
Has been said and it remains true . . . . college football is a business.
Reading between the lines, and I am doing just that.
Pruitt said couple of days ago that he and his assistants want to remain in Athens. That of course was prior to public knowledge of Mark Richt leaving. :whistle:

Just to toss some nuggets out there.
1) HC-Smart
2) DC-Muschamp
3) OC-Helton (USC)
I prefer Pruitt stay at DC instead of Muschamp.
I think the Helton OC would keep Eason at UGA. However, I don't put much stock in worrying about a 17 year old kid. Buc, I think you spoke to that earlier.

Finally left the IT field and am now teaching middle school math

1. PR machine reporting "Richt Steps Down". They are not using the word "Fired"; go figure.

What about Bob Stoops? If he wins a natty this year he has 2 spread out. Just a thought in case we don't want smart.
I guess my point is this: what if UGA has decided not to take a chance on a coordinator Just saying, if that is the case, we have to look at people who are already head coaches.
