About a press conference to be held today to announce the new OC?

I'm hearing it's going to be Mike Bloomgren, former Stanford OC?!?!?

Still looking for something official....wlayton,.....whaddaya got???

I have not heard that. How does everyone feel about that if it's true?

I haven't heard anything today, but Bloomgren has experience as an O-line coach and ST coordinator as well.

The positives - Knows the importance of the run game, and the O-line. Has experience as
"run game coordinator" and as an O-line coach. His O-lines are usually big and mean.

The negatives - His offense is far from ground-breaking stuff, and I don't know how
his recruiting abilities will translate down here in the south. I am sure he's a guy that
can get kids to want to come play for him, but does he have the "in" with a lot of our
deep south pipelines that some of our departed guys have?

How does everyone feel about that if it's true?

Looking at his bio as I type...looks like an FSU connection,...former QB,....If true, it sounds like more pro-style in our future...

EDIT:....Still looking for something official...got my "heads-up" via txt....The Interwebz are all quiet!!! When does CMR usually hold his weekly presser?

If I were a gambling man, would place my chips here. Too many things in the article point to our head coach. Also had time in Alabama.
