From Athens- 36 days to GDF

Good Morning All,

Just 36 days until kickoff with Clemson.

Been an interesting week.

Dawg Night gave us 2 big time recruits for 2016. Outstanding

With the arrest of JT and his dismissal plus a big time 2016 recruit from South FL having a arrest warrant posted for stealing during his visit for Dawg Night.

He is not one who currently has an offer from Georgia. All this action kept our campus police very active.

As stated it was a very good thing that the dismissal of JT happened without delay. Message sent can only hope it sticks with those who need it to.

For some reason this week I am running reruns in my mind of the IC and CMR sideline confrontation. We watched it happen live and that the line had been crossed.

By the look on CMR face he was in new uncharted territory. IMO this was a defining moment for him and his coaching.

There was hope that IC would grow up but I also saw on his face that this was not the first time that he pulled this act.

Ain't it funny how the night moves – great song…. Anyway TG & KM arrive to restore order. A very good thing

One more ME guy is leaving the Classic City. Opens up a scholarship for a WE guy for 2015. Progress

Share what my campus guy says that our OL has done a real good job learning Nasty this summer. Like the defense they want to prove that they can get the job done. No excuses!!!

Also been thinking about how our sideline body language is going to change with our new coaches.

I expect to see more of an engaged group than any time in recent memory.

Fall camp starts in less than 10 days that will get the chatter going

Just got a great committment from Michael Chigbu WR last night from La. Interesting that he wasn't offered by LSU.

Will never forget watching the game between Nebraska /Georgia in Orlando. Sat directly behind the Georgia bench. The players that were on the bench, Ramik Wilson being one of them, it was easy to see their disgust with what was going on with grantham and the way he was "ruining" the game for us. Richt actually grabbed grantham and moved him out of the way at one point. That livened the bench up a bit. Realize that was not caught on television or it would have been plastered everywhere.
