Seems that we have a tad of guarded optimism which I tend to favor over rampant pessimism

As our defensive coaching staff comes together

Do not think we will see any conservative play when our D is on the field

Stand by with my previous post about us flipping a recruit come NSD

Yup intrest has been perked......?.Go Dawgs!!!!!

Go Dawgs!

We've always been able to recruit well, but these hires at the very least ensure a continuation
of that.

The "floor" for these hires is where we were regarding recruiting. The "ceiling" is higher.

On a pure coaching standpoint, the floor here was the previous DC's ceiling... so I don't see how we can't be
better.

God Bless and Go Dawgs

Way to go CJP! This hire makes me and some on the fence recruits very happy.

Buc, I heard the Rocker hire from you first........told the boys over at 247 why I cancelled.

The only concern I have with Rocker is will he commit to UGA or will he look for the first NFL job available?

However, even if he can give us 2 years before he bolts, that should be 2 years of stud DL commits to get us loaded up before he leaves.

Hey, that reminds me, isn't their a junior down in south Georgiafor the class of 2015 they are saying is the next big "thing"???

Shannon, without a doubt this is the strongest formation of able bodied recruiters that I have seen in Athens, maybe ever. Speaking of course about the defensive side of the ball. Would not be surprised to see Christian Robinson getting promoted. Just saying . . . .

We have had young pups leave and prove themselves to be strong coaches in a short amount of time. Christian is a bright, spontaneous young man. Believe he would fit in under Jeremy Pruitt and his style of coaching. Also remember, Robinson played in the 3/4 and 4/3. Has a very good background in understand both. Believe he would also be a candidate for Special Teams Coach. Again, just saying . . . .
