I have to share this from Bernie’s site, way so good

When asked if he was rooting for Auburn to win the NC as they are in the SEC

He answered that the devil was in the bible and I don’t support him, I chuckle every time I read that. Simple truth.

Much said about CMB and his worth. Just remember who his boss is.

We don’t know how much freedom he has in what he does

This point has been made by several here and I think it is a valid one.

99.999% of us think that there is a zero chance of any major changes taking place with our coaching staff

That 2014 is going to be a repeat of the previous 13 seasons.

I am not going to blow smoke or mix up a grape flavored drink or holding out for the “Miracle” But………….

If you remember my post after the Clemson game I said this season was going to be a mystery with many turns that we would not see coming
more so than any recent years

Needless to say and without listing all the examples it held as a true statement

Scooby in an early post spoke about Bama and how the wheels could come off just as easily as any other team in college football

Anyone recall CNS after playing us in the SECCG speak to how sports all have winning cycles which are followed by losing cycles

In his words the key is to lengthen one and shorten the other

Again a simple truth

Year 14 will present a completely different set of challenges for us which many here have concluded will result in the same disappointing
results

If that is the case we will have conformation early in the season, game two at USC The ballack wants a payback

Don’t like it but for me I hope for the best and expect the worst based on our past performances

I don’t know many that had Auburn ahead of the Tide playing for the NC

Just saying as weird as this season was 2014 may surpass

I will bet you a RC Cola and a Moon Pie that FB will not only get his chance but will see major PT in 2014 if he stays healthy

CMB is looking at 2015 and what happens if HM get hurt in the first game of 2014 Insurance

CMB has seen HM in two games already and has all winter and spring

To mull over whom can best do the job

IMO he is not completely sold on HM

He had FB wearing the headset on the sidelines.

Along with HM =FB- spent many hours going over game film with AM

Looking forward to who takes part in summer drills

Like to hear what AM thinks about who can produce best for the offense in 2014

yankeedawg1, arose this morning and first thing to hit me was a post by AllDawgs5 on the "resignation" of Lakatos. More to come on that I feel.

Realize I am on the stump for Faton Bauta. Did the same for AM. Amazing some of the "stuff" I read about Faton's arm. He has a gun, don't know where the noodle or lack of arm strength comes from. Yes I do, won't go there.

First game of the 2014 Season, Clemson. Wonder if Deshaun Watson will play. Week off and travel to Columbia. Slip against either, it will create a mud slide.

Hoping for the best, have done that for many years. Latest count, 14 for the current group.

Off to the VA this morning. Sure I will hear some talk about the current administration in Washington, D.C. reducing the pay for retired Veterans, along with many changes occuring in the VA system providing health.

Come across a Veteran, recognizable by their uniforms, pat on the back and a handshake. Some of us do care.

yd1, thought you were going to take a break from the normal Friday posts? Selfishly I hope you don't.

While I certainly believe in what Buc says about FB, I feel HM is the man next year not from senior favoritism but from knowledge of the system and what Bobo/CMR wants the QB to be able to do. I know FB is a lot like AM where he is a film rat and studies relentlessly but HM is still probably way ahead of the curve in the knowledge of the system than FB is at this point in time. I'm sure he will get some PT or at least I hope he can.

Man, doesn't everyone just WISH that Lakatos was THE problem in the secondary and not CTG....I know it's a stretch but we can wish can't we???

Anyway, hope they get a strong replacement.

If Lakatos was the problem,and both the dc AND hc let it go, then our problems just got multiplied. After saying that though, it would'nt surprise me, since I'm now suspect of the work ethic of tg and mr.

Dawg With Style, really wish those on the outside looking in could muster up confidence about 2104. We can still use the word "talent", but that more and more applies to players, not those instructing them.

Having looked the 2014 schedule over, not sure we are going in with a lot of confidence coming from our coaches. Statements like we will have to find out who our best five offensive linemen are. That statement to me says something is wrong in the depth department.

Defense, I am in the "show me mode". Again, that is not on the "talented players" it falls on the shoulders of those that need to get down to basics.

Not going to rant here, just not sure of the 8-4 at this point DWS.
