Know that some are paying attention to the new contract between the SEC (Slive) and ESPN (Disney).
Right away some of us realize that urban meyer and ohio state will be thrown in our faces through the "new Slive deal". That is the way that ESPN wants it, and they get whatever Disney tells them to go after.
Now comes the next step. Broadcaster/Football Analyst Tim Tebow, add to that Paul Finebaum, going to be the type of show that Mickey and Minnie give at Disney World on a regular basis, show business.
Believe it or not, SEC football will never be the same. By that I mean this . . . . Slive will move on in the near future, leave the deal that he made with Disney, and to hell with SEC football.
Georgia for example will get the negotiated income, and do what? The Group will put the money in the "safe keeping bin" along with the other green backs, saving up for a rainey day.
Anyone think this is doom and gloom on my part, this is what I think and know will happen. Keep your hands on your wallets, there is more to come. 2014 is the first year of Disney swallowing up a conference that once had a lot of pride . . . . before Slive and the controlling groups took complete control. This is their answer to declining butts in the seats issue.
This is Step 2, many more steps to come from M&M. Don't believe, hang around and watch.
Below is an article I read early this morning, maybe some on this board have also. Found some of the posts to the article interesting.
Paul Finebaum and Tim Tebow . . . . WOW, just WOW!
