Not going to get into all the coaching stuff besides this, if we could get Kirby, I wouldn't be against it. I think it is a lot bigger IF than many think. If he wanted badly to be at UGA, he had his chance. Its pretty clear he is next in line at bama. Has a lot of stock built up there. Patterson and Peterson, no better than what we have IMO. Patterson's and Peterson's both win games they shouldn't to turn around and lose games they shouldn't. Lot different win there are more than 1 or 2 big games on the schedule. Don't get to play mid major teams every week.

Defense is bad. Better start bringing the house. Our pass rush has been way to inconsistent. Not bashing players, hard for 3 men to beat 5. Better start bringing 6 or 7. Man up and hope pressure gets there to force some poor throws. Should eliminate the confusion as well. Pretty simple when you are just guarding the man in front of you.

Going to shock some, but Mizzou is dang good football team with Franklin. Best WR corp I have seen now that over half of ours is out.

Saw a post about the lsu defense. Know how Chavis works. Had a feeling they would be better than many thought. Saw a lot of people doubting them because of what we did to them. Could it have been that our offense was that good? Anyway's Chavis is very good. Miles might get in front of the camera, but have no doubt what coach their defensive players believe in. Guessing Miles is like CMR. He leaves the defense alone.

TG, Scott Lakatos however may be a different story. What has happened on the D side is just inexcusable, and yes I know the whole young pups argument. Don't care...unacceptable.

Knew they were young, but this was not young pups facing their first test. We have faced Clemson, LSU, UT, SC.

No way in hell this D shouldn't have gained some experience and made some positive strides after facing those programs. No way.

Not only have they not shown any improvement... it looks like they are regressing and playing worse.

There is something wrong over there, and it's a hell of a lot more than youth.

Gee... I wonder where I first started hearing that... a few weeks ago, before the cluster#### this past weekend.

Simplifying things on the back end for sure but not over the whole defense. Gap resposiblities on blitzes are probably more confusing than a base coverage that we can't execute. You better hit the right gaps, and back responsiblities.

From what I see, I don't think it is a simplification issue. Looks like CTG is afraid to call a lot of the stunts that we have seen in the past. He is at fault sure, but we got guys, that can't even figure out responsibilties in a base cover 2. I hate to say this, and it is scary, but what we are running is pretty basic.

Looks to me like players and coaches on the defensive side are on their heals.
