From Athens - Week closer to the Clemson Gam Yea!

Good Morning All,

I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable 4th. Like most of the SE we had a wet holiday but it was restful.

Watching the news and what is going on in Egypt and other countries that are still searching for what we have enjoyed for over 200 yrs makes me again thankful and being blessed to be an American on this July 4th.

It has already been covered here its next man up for our place kicker.

We just need to score TD’s and not have the Clemson game come down to FG no matter whom our kicker is. OK no need for wining FG’s in any of our games I will buy that!

Our coaching staff has another teachable moment for fall camp. I hope it is the last one for the season…….focus on football please!

Just reading in the news where four Vandy players removed from team and on interim suspension from university pending investigation of a sex crime in a dorm.

Quiet is a good thing....boredom can be a saving grace....and time for reflection can put priorities in place.

Hope all the players as well as coaches especially look to #3 above with all this down time they have until fall practice starts.
