Good Morning All,
Just 40 days until August first and the opening of fall camp.
The weather here has been cooler and we have doubled the total rainfall that was recorded for all of 2012 in just the first six months of 2013.
All who work the soil for a living are happy, for myself I am enjoying how well my lawn looks.
Georgia and I had just returned from our morning walk during which she came nose to nose with a fawn.
They ran themselves in circles and had a great time. Funny to watch!
While she was enjoying a cool drink of water on the patio I asked her what was on her wish list for our upcoming football season.
She ticked off the following:
JHC’s is the only suspension
No major injuries
We play every game like we did in the fourth quarter of the Capital One bowl
game-start to finish. Keep our foot down for all 60 minutes!
Defense improves stopping the run and our Secondary grows up fast
Offense picks up where it left off and improves with each game
Marshall puts it all together and runs wild in his second year
Gurley enjoys running behind our OL that has had a year together and builds on his last year’s stats
Morgan finds his stride kicking FG’s and PAT’s and continues with his good work on kickoffs
AM makes it four years of 3000yds passing and lowers the number of INT’s
We win the SECG
I set a personal season high of touchdown treats-notice as a team dog I didn’t list this first !! Woof Woof Woof………
February 2014 finds a new piece of crystal located in the B-M bldg
Anything else I asked?
Not now but I might before we play Clumpsen.
I am looking to grill some wild sockeye salmon this weekend, life is good
Pause and give thanks
Have a great weekend and a safe week
As always “God Dawgs”

yankeedawg1, still have this feeling that our program is on the rise. Appears that those that do sign on with Georgia know, or should know that it is a university that does follow the rules. I also hope that JHC comes out of this with a better understanding of "rules". As good as he is (talent) does not separate him from the "rules".
Went back and forth with myself whether or not I should say this . . . . I have often spoke of players for Florida being on the privileged list under Urban Meyer. Aaron Hernandez was one of the "chosen". Urban did not run a "clean program" by any account. Many things could be said about Urban Meyer's stay in Gainesville, Florida, maybe some of us down this way might have more to say later on. Nuff said for now.
yankeedawg1, I really like what I see from the young folks in our program. Really excited about the character of those that are signing on or are being recruited now. Good football teams with character can win championships.
Will have some comments later on about the direction our coaching staff has taken, will make all of us proud. Hoping we can keep this group together for a while, believe we finally ridded ourselves of those that did not want to be a part of the process.
I prepare my sushi and one of my favorite items is "wild" Sockeye Salmon. Things learned in Japan in the 1950's and 60's.
My favorite "Father's Day" gift came from my son and daughter. They sent a generous donation to the "Wounded Warriors" fund in my name.
God Bless . . . . Ready for some SEC Football.
