You Go Michael Adams . . . . Literally

Have made up my mind to pull back and stop posting so much.

This is one subject that I cannot however let pass.

“I will come back and haunt the president and athletic director who close the west end of the stadium.”

There was a time when the tracks were an open view and could be seen from inside the Hedges by most. Sealed that end of Sanford Stadium and ended a huge part of UGA Football History.

Couple of the best things that have happened to UGA Football, Adams leaving, VD gone.

Couple of mistakes made . . . . Erk left and no longer can we see the tracks.

It is all about the money, right Michael Adams. Now you are trying to sway some of the folks that can be swayed. Apparently reading the internet posts from many different sites, some of the folks that claim to be UGA dyed in the wool supporters and writers, pick and choose their spots to face up.

Sad part of Michael Adams stepping down, he will remain in Athens in another position. He however will have one of his puppets replacing him.

Ain't no more coming down the tracks . . . . keep jerking the supporters around, there will be a time when you leave and UGA will be better for it.

Go Dawgs, kick Michael Adams' ass off campus.

Buc, why does Adams care about whether the west end gets closed off? Is it because it would put a lot more fans in the stadium? Is it because it would put UGA on par with any school in America? Is it because it would improve the noise levels and make it tougher on opposing QBs? Is it because we would no longer have to see the mess of that bridge (the tracks were disorderly, but very cool to look at - not that bridge)?

I think it could be all of the above, because I don't think Michael Adams is a Bulldog. I said that.

I agree with you Buc on Adams. Kick his ass out of the state. The sooner the better. And I too remember the RR tracks barely because I was young. But closing in that end was a good thing IMO. Yes, I miss the tracks and I'm sure the older dawgs miss it more than I do. But it added a lot more than money in the way of seats. It added NOISE!!!!. More excitement and it added more fans packed in on that end. Some changes come with a sacrafice for the benfit of more to come. That's just my opinion.

However, I DO oppose closing the West end. I'm sure a time will come when that will eventually happen.

I support anything that ends with Michael Adams ridden out of Athens on a rail.

God Bless and Go Dawgs

Does ANYONE like M. Adams? Jeez, what a crying shame that one of the most hated people EVER among members of the Bulldawg Nation is one of our own. Dumbfounding & disheartening!!!

For the record, I kind of like the West end being open (it's unique) but I ain't gonna cry if they close it; especially if closing it makes my ticket price go down (yeah right) & more importantly, adds extra crowd noise thereby increasing Sanford's home field advantage.

Please keep on posting Buc, your threads tend to warrant some of the best discussions in here.

I miss the tracks and Larry Munson. Saturday 2pm the Dawgs played their butts off then we all went home.

Now it is driven by the bucks instead of tradition.

For winning the Natty give every Dawg a bone AND prime rib steak.
