They were ready to play from the opening bell.....they were focused, knew what was on the line and executed the game plan.

Now, if they could just bottle that and use it 13 and hopefully 14 times a year.

Even though AU is pathetic, it was still impressive.....totally calculated bloodletting.

Btw....Holtz ACTUALLY commented to watch out for the Dawgs, that they were playing as good as anybody in the country and could beat anybody if they played to their potential (or something like that.....I was so floored at him BACKING the Dawgs I can't remember exactly!!).

Definitely with you on Holtz, wlayton. Around here we a name for him, won't use it. Really likes bashing or should I say not rating the Dawgs highly every year. He was 100% right this season on the South Carolina game, has missed a couple though.

This new gunslinger that arrived in the SEC impressed the heck out of me. Speaking about the TAM coach. Kevin Sumlin proved himself at Houston and he is going to be a force to reckon with in the SEC. Indications are he is an excellent recruiter, being based in Texas, means he will pick up a lot of talent from that State. Young men know that the SEC puts a lot of players in the NFL, feel TAM is going to rattle some cages, especially after knocking off Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Johnny Football is something else, but watching the game, saw a lot of very talented players.

Actually this is a very good thing for the SEC. Would hate to see a team of this caliber going to another conference. TAM being in the West side of the conference will certainly make two or three schools in the West look for high profile coaches that produce.

Sumlin is impressive (have to admit)......he's going to be a great one I believe and Johnny "football" is fun to watch, amazingly refined "sandlot" player. He's going to cause problems for a few years and between the two, TAM may wreak havoc on the recruiting scene.
