Pope jumped early. And i don't blame him. Money was talking and Pope bought it. He has been the best Tieght End at Georgia since Ben Watson and he will be missed. But, we get to keep moses. Personally, if i had to pick between the two of them, i'd take moses simply because of the major holes needed to be filled on that line. CAN'T WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR! GO DAWGS!
Yeah, I hated to see Pope go myself, but hey..who could blame him? In his situation and with his talent, I would have had to do the same thing! But we got Martrez coming back and we signed a couple of quality TEs. Seems UGA has transitioned from Tailback U to Tightend U! LOL!! Really looking forward to the upcoming season. Gonna miss a some fan favorites, like DJ and Pope, but the Bulldawg Nation will continue on! Some really great talent coming in and some real nice talent already developing, ie MoMass!
