Good Morning All,

I enjoyed your post Buc about our team speed. Speed never takes a dayoff.

Added to our team speed we are still big and getting stronger.

I have heard that once again CJT has been working his magic.

Upperclassmen now into year two of his program, did anyone else notice that the top three players in weight lifting from this week’s NFL Combine came from UGA. Thank you Father Joe.

This maybe a forecast of what the future holds from S&C.

IMO it is the lack of depth now that is causing us to be gassed. The good news is that this issue has been addressed with vigor.

Not much noise coming out of the B/M building on campus. Quite is good right now.

I agree with those who have stated here that the success by the “D” has added some skin to the game for the “O”

Here is why I think our OL will get good in a hurry.

First CWF he will prove he is the real deal this season. “Coach them up”

Second, as AM has stated the “O” gets to line up against one of the best “D” in the country every day in practice.

“D” pushing the “O” and the “O” learning to push back both get better!

Third we have the studs that our ready to learn to block for a stable of RB’s

IC not a peep to be heard.

I am thinking that he has found a mentor who has stuck a sock in his mouth and laid out an action plan for him to follow.

So far it would seem IC is doing what he is being told. A very good thing.

Georgia brought up a point during our walk last night about last season.

BSU and USC kicked sand in our face and we went on a ten game run.

Yes we lost the last two, which like our loss in Memphis put a sting on our team.

To her way of thinking the two losses kept us grounded and gave fuel to CTG to use as teaching tools.

Much like the first half of the SECCG.

Just a taste of what all this hard work is about and what it can lead to.

Pause and give thanks

Have a great weekend and a safe week

As always “Go Dawgs”

yankeedawg1, so many points that you make I am in agreement with.

Maybe one more on attitude and willingness that has lifted my spirits even more. Malcolm Mitchell going to Mark Richt and saying he will do whatever is needed for the team. He was not asked as I understand it, he took that trip down the hall on his own to see the Head Master.

Maybe I should have said two more. Marshall comes to the campus and is challenged by one of the fastest men on the team (Malcolm Mitchell)to a foot race. A fine race it was. Young man did not hesitate, got down into his sprinting stance and set let's go. Along with that a very good GPA. Might have something to do with IC toning it down a bit. Not trying to be negative here, hope all of our running backs play and play well.

Our offensive line will learn much come Spring and Fall. Believe that Grantham and company will fire live ammo both sessions. Do not believe that these young pups will see any better throughout the season. Believe it was AM that said last Spring and Fall that these guys are impossible to play against.

"Georgia" is on track with the sand in the face, assuming she gets a treat for that piece of information.

Spurrier is laying for us in Columbia.

Off to the VA this morning, feel sure I will come back and splatter at some point today. Great weekend to all. :)

Good morning yd1.......your posts are always refreshing for me and mainly because you tend to keep things in great perspective.

Great point about our OL getting better fast because of who they will be going up against every day in practice. You WILL get better going against the country's top 3 rated opponent in any sport you may be playing. As you know, I'm probably more concerned about our OL than anybody on this forum and feel our season will go ONLY as our OL goes.......for me, they are THE key to our upcoming season.

Unfortunately though, #1's rarely square off in practice, usually it's #1's vs. #2's, BUT.......CTG's #2 D will obviously be well coached and make that OL work hard as well.

Have a great weekend yd1 and will be having a cool one in your honor tonight!! B)

If all goes well this spring and summer with the Dawgs, on and off the field, we as Dawgs' lovers should have big smiles on our faces for this upcoming season.

With CTG getting the players under his system another year the D should push teams around a lot easier!

AM should have a better O-line in front of him so he can make better and/or smarter plays!

With Marshall coming in this year it will give IC something to man up to and play like a real SEC running back!

And I think our special teams will play great after what happen last year with teams running all over them!

PS Hope all went well for you Buc at the VA! :)

Talked with my guy this past week.

IC is on a mission. He's in the top 2 in every drill the rb's are doing weather it be matt drills or lifting. Also hearing a rumor of maybe 3 back's on the field at the same time. RS lining up at fullback with 2 back's behind him. It has not been practice but has been mentioned at meetings.

I'm excited about this year dawgs. If the O'line pulls through no reason we don't go to Miami. And look for a big change with special teams I'm hearing as well. I'm hearing a lot of reciever's and back's will be trying out for special teams
