I have been surfing several sports sites and ran across were CTG was listed as one of the top 25 college recruiters according to Rivals.com.
After seeing what he has done the past two years I would have him in the top 10 for sure.
Spring ball this year will have my added interest.
I do not expect to see too much of our playbook during the R&B game but it will be fun to see the pups going at it for playing time.
In case you missed it the game is April 14th at 1pm. Admission is a canned food donation for the ACC Food Bank.
It will be fun to tailgate one more time before the summer sets in.
I have been casting thoughts back over last season.
Being at the bottom of the well after the USC loss and flat out giddy with the win in Jacksonville. I went back in the dumper after our bowl game.
2012 will be another year of Mylanta and Tums as part of the pregame snacks.
With the exception of one running back it seems we have found a group of players that understand that there is no letter I in team.
That We has taken the place of Me when it comes to taking care of business on the playing field.
Our incoming freshmen seem to have a grasp of this mindset also. A very good thing!
Pause and give thanks – we are blessed
Have a great weekend and a safe week.
As always “Go Dawgs”!!!!
Go Dawgs!

Had a early morning appointment at my area VA and with all of the things that so many of these folks have gone through, walking down the hallways and sidewalks, these folks still have time to say "good morning". Means so much to see those that have given so much for us to be able to enjoy Spring Football in Athens and other campuses around the country.
yankeedawg1, I too have good feelings about this group of young men in Athens, think they too know how to say good morning, yes and no sir and yes and no ma'am. Respect both on and off the field certainly builds character.
Talent resides in Athens, coach'em up . . .

growl......great, please let us hear how things went.
yd1....good morning and happy weekend. I too had those same feelings throughout the year (especially the "giddy" down here in Jax) as did probably everybody. Expect good things next year but also have concerns in a couple of areas. Hopefully growl will report some good news addressing some of the concerns on everybody's minds.
I only think of one word for next season with this team and hope it's the same word in the player's minds......HUNGRY...:woohoo: :woohoo:

First tums test comes in the second game this coming season. Mizzou scares the heck out of me and will be ready to demonstrate they deserve to be in the SEC. Win or lose a tight game with a top 15 or better UGA squad gets them in the hype.
I like what we have returning and the foundation for a good team was built last year. Time to coach em up and make them a great team.

I'm at the VA every day, Buc.Buc wrote: yankeedawg1, reminds me of some of my feelings about the "up and down" last season. Really hope that some stability will come along with the returning of some players that many thought would depart for the NFL.

Always reminds me of my son's favorite song, "You've got to stand for something" by Aaron Tippin.
