I've been out a week or two

Haven't had time to post anything lately. But I have been at every game and talked to some of the guys and seen a couple things here and there.

linebacker RUMOR is when Tree comes back there is some packages that call for Tree CR MG JJ and CW to be on the field at the same time. Now that's a 5 some I would hate to see coming at me. And with those 5 on the field they will have CW down on the line with John Jenkins and KG. That's just what I heard that they been playing around at practice. Tree has practice a few snaps and could play this weekend but I think CMR is not wanting to risk not having him for FL. I have a feeling CMR is going to pull out all the stops come Oct 30th.

Our defense looks great right now and is really winning us the games.

Offense can we pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee get a reciever to step up. YES MM is making the big plays but there are several that just can't seem to catch the ball. IMO MM is neck and neck with IC as far as making BIG plays for the team. The kid is going to be great. He's almost a shorter AJ. I like IC at running back but starting to think 20-25 carries a game is to much for him. If you notice he's fast got tons of energy at first but he has'nt gone through a full offseason workout and I can tell from play to play he's not hustling on the field you can tell he's winded and having a hard time keeping up. I did like seeing him take hisself out of the game in TN a couple of times when he knew he was just outta gas. I also want to see some little passes thrown to him. I'd like to see him and CT in the game at the sametime CT in the back field and IC out in a slot.

This team is close to being great and I think next year this could be a top 10 team easy. But we need to finish strong this year. We have to beat UF Auburn and GT if CMR wants another year. And with those wins I see us in Tampa. Even if we do win the east will go to Atlanta and I'm sorry guys but both LSU and Al are looking really strong and have both sides of the ball clicking on all cylinders I see the runner up of the west going to the sugar bowl this year.

stanger, interesting read. IC in the slot would drive the other side nuts. Sure would like to see this offensive bunch become offensive. Good to see your return.

AND.....I guarantee you CMR is going to pull out all the stops against UF, he has NO choice.

stanger, couple of things that I want to know, and know you are closer to the team than probably anyone.

Rome is playing basketball this year. I think that is good. After reading several articles today and yesterday about his reasoning, really made me feel good. Rome (reportedly) was a bit down not playing and suiting up for Tennessee. Understandable. He could have played for any number of D1 colleges if he had chosen them. Not only play, would have started. Speaks volumes for Rome's character and maturity. Also, playing basketball, will keep this young man in top shape, Coach Fox is not a . . . . pushover. Think he is a bit like Grantham . . . demands excellence.

Rome comes back next season, has some serious frosh that want to put their cleats in the turf on the offensive line. Truly makes sense to me. Bring me up to date on Rome and ready for this, Conley if you have any information.

Buc, Conley looks pretty smooth to me. That one catch he made (on his hip) last week, he never broke stride and was pretty nonchalant while catching the ball......want to see him on the field more, he may be a star waiting to happen imo.

Before the season started wlayton, you were high on Conley and brought your thoughts to this board. Have watched some youtube and the catch you mentioned above, only shows that you were on base again about one of ours. Brown and Troupe, much like Bean, they had a good ride at UGA, did not perform, just wore the uniform. Sorry, just the dog gone truth.
