Last 5 years

Talked to a Bulldog buddy of mine the other day and we recalled the last 5 years.

2006 we went 9-4 with losses to TN, Vandy, UF, & KY. UF won the east going 7-1. The two games that stick out the most are KY & Vandy. Lost to UF 21-14 and TN whacked us 51-33. We beat UK, Vandy, and UF and we go to ATL because TN went 5-3. Missed opportunity

2007 we went 11-2 with losses to SC and TN. TN won east going 6-2 and beating us 35-14. This was disappointing because we were able to beat UF, but the loss SC really kept us out of ATL. We win one or the other of those and we go to SEC championship. Missed opportunity

2008 we went 11-2 again with losses to UF and UA. Remember the "Blackout Game" against Bama?? Well UF kicked our butts 40-10 also. UF goes 7-1 and trip to ATL.

2009 we go 8-5 loosing to LSU, TN, UF, & KY. The loss to KY should have never happened and LSU loss was the infamous AJ taunting penalty. Really don't think it would have mattered in any of these games because UF went 8-0.

2010 we go 6-7. What can be said except we were with out AG for first 4 games. We looked pathetic against UCF. No excuses though.

Looking back we should have been in ATL 2 out of last 5 years. We can't do anything about the past, but we sure as heck can about the future. It starts NOW! Our D is playing the way it needs to so come on O it's your turn. Let's stop pointing fingers and do what needs to be done which is improvement and consistency. I don't care what it takes....Just Do It!

Nah.. I'm semi-retired. I don't want a full time job or anything like that.

Call me bitter, but the only thing I see is losing to UF 4 out of 5 years...now I'm depressed:(
