Who, on the defense, is going to make that first "welcome to the SEC" hit?

First defensive play of the game: We line up in our base 3-4 with Tree and Jarvis barking at the guards from either side of Kwame. At the snap, Tree drops back to help cover the middle, center and guard come off to doubleteam Kwame, Abry Jones comes down the line and brings the tackle with him and BOOM...Mr. Jones introduces himself, and the Georgia Dome turf to Kellen Moore. THAT'S your welcome to the SEC hit...

Really like Jones and Tyson. Going to make the other Jones, Tree, Washington and others look super this season. Lots of good pieces, need for the puzzle to come together.

Couldn't agree more Buc. Houston lead the SEC in regular season sacks last year, and he was playing his first year in a new system behind a front three that was undersized all the way across the board. IF Jones, Tyson, Geathers, Jenkins, et al. prove to be the "high-motor" big men that they've been advertised as...our second level could be scary. Like you said, we have all the ingredients, now they just have to blend together.

Not sure when but Jarvis Jones is unblockable and at some time early in the game, he is going to take Moore's head clean off. Their tackle will only see a blur when JJ goes by him.

My vote is for Mr. Ogletree to welcome their RB to the dome fairly early. Helmets and shoulder pads make a very satisfying "cracking" sound upon a healthy collision, usually followed by about 70,000 (95,000 in Sanford Stadium) fans going "oooooo". Those are the best.
