It is against "God and Country" not to wear the traditional red helmets. Best looking helmets in college football. If I'm a player, I refuse to change the helmets (I know, they're kids they probably think they are cool.....better think about BSU).

They look like Texas Tech.

Not only are the helmets a break in tradition, but red pants instead if the traditional silver britches. Back to the drawing board Nike. Good thing this is a one time deal.

Someone told me that the red down the facemask/helmet is supposed to represent Erk's bleeding forehead. I say so what, it looks like crap. The helmets have the #34 on the back? It's like they're trying so dang hard to inject tradition in to these uniforms that are 100% against tradition.
