Had a look at Richt's meeting in Atlanta. Seemed jovial as he usually does. Think this was the last of his stops in the off season.
Now it is time to get to work with the old timers and new recruits. Recruits have not actually been with Richt other than on the recruiting trail. Now they get to see and feel just what they signed up for. JTII probably has gotten the attention of most at this point, the Richt side now has to run with the football.
Don't really care what some folks say about this year, it is clear to me that it is show time and I expect to see some of that urgency exhibited by Richt and others.
If there was not talent in Athens, there would not be a lot of high expectations in the Bulldog Nation. With the recruiting classes we have had the last two or three years and possibly some "super players" coming on board this year, much is expected of this group and it will be on display 9/3. No hiding, no excuses, stadium almost all red and black creating strong support for the group from Athens.
Seems as if the Vegas money is on Boise State, that makes me wonder. They have a great quarterback, ours is not chopped liver. Punting, field goal and kickoff aspects seem to belong to us. They have a good running back, think we have more than one, that is to be seen. We wanted size for our defense, we have size over BS. The closer I look, if I were a betting man, would have to lean toward UGA.
Only problem I have at this point with the two sides is the coaching aspect. Boise State has a proven head coach. We will see. Get involved Richt, a lot depends on a UGA win. Could this be the difference in point spread?
Go Dawgs . . . Coach Them Up!!
