Man let me tell you what this morning I have been looking at some other teams blogs and you would not believe the kind of rumors people are spreading about A.J green. Everything from he's not going to UGA any more to that he is not going to qualify because he does not have the grades! Its plain ridiculous what people will say about a young man just because he has a verbal commitment with UGA. It ain't like its a big surprise that he is going to stay a dawg, he said himself in an interview that he has been a dawg fan since he was little and that no matter what anyone says he will be wearing red and black when he gets out of HS. tell me what y'all think about this because I'm just blowing off steam!

Yeah, there have been a lot of non UGA rumors going around so UGASports.com called him a couple of weeks ago and talked to him about that. Green said that they are JUST rumors and that he is a Dawg and he will definetly be in Athens for the '08 season.

lets keep our fingers crossed until next signing day, because we NEED him.

He's staying a bulldog

The other guy who wrote that, phil K, is based in south carolina and generally talks out his a$$ when it comes to recruiting.

If I have to say that 10 times between now and next February, then that?s what I?ll do. If I have to say it 100 or 1,000 times, then that?s what I?ll do.

\"Anything anybody hears or reads about me not going to Georgia is not true.\"

The type of young man that all of us want to see on the campus at UGA. Following quote from his basketball coach. Reminds me of a standout reciever that played for the Bees.

The top player is A.J. Green, a football All-American. Green, a junior, is averaging 18.9 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. He earns high praise from Newman.

\"For people who don't know him, he seems shy and quiet,\" Newman said. \"He's humble. As a coach, you would like for him to come out of his shell and see what he can do. He takes us on his back at times, but he's so unselfish he's not always going to do it unless we are in peril. He's one of a kind. Even at a school our size, he's once in a generation.\"

With our previous recruiting classes, and this year sifting through all of the growling about recruit rankings, this years class of OLinemen was a great move by UGA recruiters. Now we have guys like AJ coming along, with the great arm of a sure to be pro quarterback, and the likes of Moreno, and King, I like where we are.
