I did not hear about Turene. Hope it is true. It seems that the staff is living up to the so called changes. I am beginning to believe in this staff. Richt said after this season that he was going to get this thing fixed. It looks like he is living up to his word to this point.
If we lock up Crowell, Drew, Jenkins, and Richardson, and what they are saying about Turene, then we could arguably have one of the best recruiting years in Richt's history. I realize that might be a far stretch to get all of them, but the fact that we are such a strong player for those guys is encouraging. Richt has went toe to toe with Saban in recruiting, and he is winning the head to head battle right now. Saban still has some great kids committed, but lately it appears Richt is outperforming him. Don't know how because based on play lately, we have no reason too. Good job to Richt and Staff. I believe CTG, and the D staff are a major reason for many of the defensive guys. Guys are buying what they are selling.
It appears that S&C program has picked up some slack. Good old fashion hardwork is the way to get it done. No short-cuts. It starts in the offseason. I have never attended a UGA weight session, but from readings, it appears things became to lax in the weight room. Seems JT and staff have changed that.
Richt needs to "Finish the Drill" in the recruiting battle. That is his first step in convincing me that anything is going to change. Then, he needs to make sure that the guys are getting better in the off season. Weight Room, staying out of trouble, grades, football development, etc.
Ultimately, the only thing that matters though is what we see this fall. Better have a good year. No more second chances.
