A Wish For All . . .

We have a lot to be thankful for.

First off, thanks to the guys and gals that are far, far away fighting for the Red, White and Blue. I am a 100% disabled veteran, and when I go to my VA care center in Viera, Florida I realize how lucky I am. Everyone should take one day and visit a VA medical center and look into the eyes of these young men and women that suffer so much. They don't ask for anything, anything other than respect.

I am thankful to have a school (UGA) that I can watch, love, hate and always come back to love.

I appreciate the folks on this board, a good bunch. Special to the core.

Red, White and Blue, first. Followed closely by Red and Black, with a splash of Silver.

Folks, I wish for each and every one of you and your family a very special Thanksgiving.

Will be heading to Ft. Lauderdale tomorrow (Wednesday) family togetherness. Chicken and dumplings, collards, apple salad and who knows what else.

Thanks Buc and AD5.....Buc all I can do is echo your comments on our veterans and current military personel. Plus a big thank you to everyone on this board......the absolute best I've had the priviledge to talk with. Happy Thanksgiving everyone....be thankful, we are all very fortunate.

Happy Early Thanksgiving to everyone on here as well. I'm super thankful this week starting off spending thanksgiving day with my soon to be inlaws with great food followed by ending the night downtown in a pressbox for the hawks game (never been to one). Then Friday going to Hooters to watch the Iron Bowl on my way to watch my Monroe Hurricanies do battle in Tyrone Ga in the 3AAA football state championships. And ending the weekend in Athens watching the dawgs beatup on some nerds for Atlanta. Don't think I could ask for much more.

sadlerdawg, I have spent the last two days trying to download a photo of a Marine in a wheelchair with two prosthetics. For some reason could not transfer it here. Anyway, it was meant for you, a MARINE, with good thoughts about you and your service. Never say die. Great respect here pal.

stanger, sounds to me like you are in the right area of in-laws. Hooters wings, and football, does not get better than that. Don't know which side you are on in the Iron Bowl, but, have always liked elephants. Second only to Dawgs. :woohoo:
