SAME OLD TEAM

I have stayed off the site to kkep my opionions to my self. I have been reading and all the bab bab about us on a roll and beating UF 42 to 17 ect, I just had to laugh and keep my comments to my self. For one, who did we beat, A sorry Tenn, Vandy and KY team, we did excactally what I thought we would do, go back to the team we were on the 4 game losing streak. We came out flat, let them get up 21 to 7 at half, same old team as before. I know UM would have his team ready, I knew that Fl would not lose 4 in a row. They for one have the better coach, 2 national titles to prove it.

We at UGA will win no more SEC titles leave the to USC and FLA, we will never win another national title as long as BOBO and CMR are at UGA. Our D only looks good to sorry ass teams, and if KY had a few more minutes, they would have comeback to beat us. We have all been leaving in a dream and false hope. This team is no better than it was in game 2. We will finish the season at 5-7 and no bowl. Some of you may not like what I say, but I speak the facts and you can day dream all you want. You will see that we will not only continue to lose 5 to 6 games each year, but we will no longer be a to 10 recruting school. The old ball coach will again out recruit us and will probably have a 4 or 5 year win streak against us before he finally retires.

I agree. We suck. We were outcoached and outhussled by an incomplete football team who had to punt if they weren't across their opponent's 25 because they have no kicker. It was embarassing. Fundamental mistakes all around on both sides of the football. CTG is a CWM clone. Bobo needs to go to clown school and join the circus.

I am going to disagree on Grantham being a WM clone. I saw some good things on defense and a Martinez defense never seemed to put pressure on anyone other than the UGA offense.

But most everything else seemed spot on.

CTG's defense has yet to shut down a half-decent offense this season. Everybody who can tell their right from their left has had no trouble putting points on the board against us.

Well that is a bit simplistic.

Florida with Demps back and killer Chris Rainey will put up points on anyone. They struggled the last three weeks without them. They did not struggle before Demps went down.

Kentucky has a dynamic offense and puts up big points.

Vandy was a shut out.

Tennessee was a good effort.

South Carolina and Arkansas were decent efforts muddles by a few blown coverages.

The defense has made considerable progress and is worlds better than what Martinez could provide. There is still work to be done, but switching from 4-3 to 3-4 was not going to happen smoothly and quickly.

The wheel route Demps scored on today was similar to the one Arkansas (IIRC) scored on earlier. Working those things out is a scheme issue as assignments on plays like that are usually different in a 3-4 from a 4-3.

I have way more faith in the defensive coaches than the offense or head coach.
