Hmmmmmm????

Guy's its been awhile since I last posted because I never felt the same as all of you. Everyone was talking about 10-2 season this and that. I thought we would be exactly where we are now and didn't want to sound like a "Negative Nancy".. :dry: I would not have thought our running game would look this bad though. I thought we would be going through tough times with a young QB making young mistakes. AM is the real deal and I feel CMB is making mistakes with his play calling. It's like he is scared to call certain plays in situations due to a young QB? That I don't understand? AM has proved in a very short time to me that he has control of the "O" and he should let him GO. Not on the fire BOBO bandwagon quite yet, but if he can't adapt his play calling to the talented QB then it's time for a change. I think he is protecting him..

As far as the "D" goes.. WTF!!!! Nothing against CTG.. We have Houston and no one else! The young secondary will be exposed all year and we are in trouble. The last game was lost on blown coverage not the CMB play calling. I know its a new scheme and its little complicated but the DB's are all over the place and look lost on most pass plays. This my friends is why we will loose to any good passing team we face.

I have read bring this coach back, fire this one, blah blah blah..

I do want to address one of those coaches mentioned.. BVG left us, we didn't let him go!!! He left because he thought the onl;y way to get a HC job would be from the NFL. Well after one year in the NFL he was right he got his shot. has a rough year and runs out of town back to the NFL and boys thats when I lost all respect for BVG. He doesn't have the BALLS to be a HC. He is a great great DC but proved he can't handle being a HC. So if CMR does get the boot this year it should be intresting who we would get but it won't be BVG.

As far as firing someone it is time for RUSS to get the boot :dry: LOL Russ isn't true UGA blood and he has ran his course.. I'm blaming this whole season on Russ

Good post golferdawg, I agree with everything except for the CMB. I think he has had plenty of time to prove himself. He continues to shw that he has no imagation, he runs the same plays over and over. It gets pretty bad when the TV announers can see what he does wrong and the fans can see what he does wrong. CMR is going to have to take over the play calling or the offense will not improve.

Bozo is an inept clown. Aside from being unimaginative and repetiitive, his formations are hurting the calling. I mean really, almost EVERY obvious passing down, 2 back I-formation with a play action fake. Seriously? You're just wasting a receiver and time with the play action. It's not fooling anybody, the safeties don't bite, and that's why Murray is standing back there for 4 or 5 seconds with nobody open. How 'bout a one-back, 3 receiver set from shotgun once in a while (and nothing against WE, but he should NOT be the one back) in passing downs. And that's just the most frequent, obvious and destructive blunder I notice. There's plenty more that could be hung on this buffoon if I had the time.

At what point has MB shown that he is capable of calling plays for the offense? Last year? Year before? He can thank his lucky stars that AJ chose UGA. Just as VD had the good fortune to have had HW.

Someone has to explain to me why it is that we don't have a receiver with say half the ability of AJ, that much alone would make a huge difference.

Comes back to coaching, some of these young fellows were better than average in high school. Appears that they have not been "coached up" in Athens.

Hoping here that OC does not die on the vine. Appears that one player can't suit up and the whole team goes to heck. What does that say for recruiting? Is it a recruiting problem or a coaching problem . . . . or both?
