:S  OSD: You are so correct in your assessment. Just one thing you have to consider, this O line has not played together all of pre-season. The center had a knee scoped and an other was out with mono. Yes I know they are all upper classmen, but a line must work together and know what the guy next to him is thinking and what he supposed to do. This takes time, working together. The D has the same problems, new system with no experience at a new position. I have no excuse for the D backs or the line backers. They need to learn to tackle and lock up with the ball carrier. I believe this team will get better as the season progress, at least I hope so. I can remember when a coach would call a player out and whip his butt in front of the whole squad. Can't do that any more. What a shame!!!!!!
As always, GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!
DawgDoc, totally agree with your assessment except for the OL. These guys have collectively played in approx 139 games and finished the season last year together and finished strong.....together. They should already have a great "feel" for each other, what they are thinking and what they will do. For the life of me I don't understand why they start off EVERY year extremely slow and progress. We say the same thing every year.
A UF or a Bama don't seem to have a problem starting where they left off from last year with their OL's.
