Crowell

I saw Jamie Newberg on a college recruiting show last night and he said he interviewed Crowell about his recruiting process. Then he just FLAT OUT asked him the question....."if you had to make a decision to sign with a school RIGHT NOW, what would the school be"?


He didn't hesitate.......he said.......UGA !!!!!!!!!

He is the missing piece in his class of grads that UGA needs. I am with you, don't change your mind.

Saw the same update. Hopefully, we close on the kid. I know it appears to be a 2 horse race between us and bama. I hate that we missed out on JWJ, but I think it will actually improve are chances on getting Crowell. JWJ is one hell of a ball player, but I think his fit would have been on the defensive side of the ball. I think Crowell is a better looking running back, not discounting JWJ at all, I just think that IC is that good.

It is getting awfully close fellas. I can hardly wait anymore. I am so anxious to see CTG's D play ball I can't stand it. I am driving the Mrs. crazy. For some reason, she thinks there are other things to talk about. :huh:

I generally try not to get caught up in the recruiting stuff too much, but i like this kids game and hope we do get him.

Totally agree with your post.....believe you are right on.

There is an article in the Columbus Ledger on Crowell. If you have not read it, it is worth a look see. The article is dated August 20th. We just have to know that Alabama is going to keep their guns blazing for this young man.
