Big Buzz from here in the Nashville area on this. Many folks upset. Truly a gut shot to a program already with challenges. Another mix up to the SEC east that has me counting my blessings on having a solid coach that should not be going anywhere soon.

Hopefully he won't pull an Urb and come back a month later.

You know......its gotta be tough to be the HC at Vandy. I think he's actually a VERY good coach. Think about it a second........if UM can get "burnout" after winning two NC's then it's pretty understandable how Johnson could get burned out. Surprised he didn't leave earlier and go to a program where he could be a winner.

Sounds like he just got tired of the commitment it takes to be a good college football coach - at least he recognized it and decided to move on
