I agree that McGarity is the best choice. I disagree with the idea that we have to get a "pure Georgia guy" with no ties to anywhere else. Vince Dooley had (and still has) strong ties to his undergrad and graduate alma mater, Auburn. Mark Richt had ties to Miami while he was at FSU and to FSU when he came to UGA. Chuck D'Amato had ties to FSU while he was at NC State and still managed to embarrass the Noles a few years running.

Damon Evans resigned. Claude Felton needs to stay right where he is. We should hire McGarity. Then we should WITH ALL POSSIBLE SPEED unretire Suzanne Yoculan. I mean, COME ON!
