Good Morning, I am sure you have read about first day of spring practice, CTG did not like the way his \"D\" broke the huddle. Had them regroup and do it again this time with enthusiasm! CTG sweats the details no matter how small. Love It !! Seems like a very small thing...but as part of the teaching and learning process it will prove much bigger. It was pretty much a jail break fire drill, but number one is done and we will be back at it come the 16th after spring break.
Just pray that everyone keeps their nose clean and out of trouble. Have a great and safe weekend.

My old baseball coach used to be the same way. If we did not go about our business with focus and enthusiam we could easily find ourselves running stadium steps or lapping the field in the middle of a game.

Good post Kentdaddy... goes back to playing like you practice. Focus and keep your head in the game every play. I don't see any of this group taking a play off or walking the duck. Be some early morning extra running in they try. Go Dawgs

I love the fire I am seeing from him. That defense is going to play lights out this year. They may have some growing pains, but you won't see that bend but don't break crap anymore.

I would tell them this:

\"Gentlemen, you are playing football for the University of Georgia. This institution was incorporated before Georgia was a state. It is an honor to play here. You will carry your self as gentlemen. You will play with heart and focus. I expect the best from each of you each and every time you step on this field.

I will lead by example. I will be strength, focus and honor. I expect you to follow my lead gentlemen and when you do together we will be champions.
