had nothing to do here at work ( ), so looked at Rivals250 for 2011.

Just some early observations:

1. The majority of the Georgia talent is on the defensive side of the ball, and (lucky for us), it appears to be concentrated in the front 7.

2. Of the top 75 who play DL/LB, 7 are from Georgia.

3. The top 123 or so on offense, only 4 are from georgia. Of those 4, two are RB's.

4. Of the top 20 DB's on the list, 2 are from georgia . get one of those two.

So, if we could land two of the four DL on the list, and 2 of the three LB on the list, we will be looking really good.

UGA lights it up this year, many folks, including some of the mullet wrapper reporters jumping back on the wagon again.

If we can't keep more of the talent here and attending UGA with the new group of coaches, would surprise me greatly. I think that the coming year means a tremendous amount to our fortunes in the coming years.

Both sides of the ball are going to go through some things that have been missing in Athens for quite a spell. Coach Richt on the \"O\" side and Coach Grantham on the \"D\" side. This will be an interesting battle to watch this Spring. Frankly, some of the scrimmages will probably be much tougher than some of the teams we will play. Just my opinion. Go Dawgs!!

Buc,
Have to agree with you on the fact that this years performance means ALOT to the upcoming years in Athens. Also, I think you are 100% right about our weekly scrimmages being tougher than some of the teams we play in the fall. I just hope our boys don't wear themselves out battling each other.

Man thats a good problem to have. Can't wait for G-day!!

GO DAWGS

David Hale has a couple of interesting interviews, good read. Really liking MB's attitude, going to be a tough, quality receiver this year.

DAWG1277, Brown's attitude is exactly what we are talking about. Someone has built a fire under his tail. Stop pouting and work. This is going to be a problem in my opinion with some of the other schools 4 and 5 star athletes. Only 11 play at one time. Good times ahead for us.

Buc.....REALLY liked the blurb on Samuel. I believe he's going to be a big time player at LB, he's more of a natural, free flowing player at LB and will rely on instincts instead of footwork, blocking etc(paralysis of analysis). He will probably end up a 240+ lb. LB and still maintain his speed. Believe you will see him play with reckless abandon and enthusiasm.......could be very infectious.
