Sugar Bowl

Talked to a co-worker of mine this morning who is a die-hard Gator and a member of their touchdown club. He said UF was allocated 17,500 tickets for the Sugar Bowl and can't give them away. Said Gator fans have thrown their suckers in the dirt after losing to Bama and not getting to play for the national championship. He said he even got an invitation to attend some type of pre-game festivities with the Bull Gators (their rich people boosters) so that they would have enough people show up. Says he never gets invited to any of their events. Don't know how true that is but I couldn't imagine ever feeling that way about my Dawgs. I may have been disappointed in the season, but to turn your back on your team like that???

It just goes to show how many BAND WAGON fans they REALLY have!

And if the team feels the same, they'll get thrown in the dirt.

Just got home and picked up the paper (The Gainesville Sun. Unfortunately I live right outside of the enemy camp) and they actually whine about the tickets not selling.

Looks like Tebow isn't the only crybaby in Gainesville.

Wait, isnt UGA having the same problem unloading tickets to their bowl game? Those in glass houses......
