Toby Gerhart should win the Heisman

Mark Ingram will probably win.

It was McCoy's to lose, and lose it he did with that lackluster performance against Nebraska (8 sacks, 3 interceptions).

Ingram was inconsitent and tanked against Auburn. Toby has been the most dominant running back this season, and is statistically head and shoulders above his peers.

Why will Mark Ingram probably win?

He impressed in the SEC championship game which featured 2 undefeated teams for the first time. Three touchdowns in the game of the century so far.

McCoy flopped on the big stage on the same day, and everybody else is a distant memory because voters are shortsighted.

I think the final order of the Heisman vote will be

1.) Ingram
2.) Gerhart
3.) McCoy
4.) Tebow

with a possible 5th invitation to New York going to Kellen Moore, CJ Spiller, or Suh

I agree with Toby Gerhart should win. He is more valuable to Stanford than Ingram is to Bama. If Richardson would have been the feature back then he would be going to the Heisman ceremonies. Wasn't the Heisman designed to go to the player who was most valuable to his team and still able to put up numbers?

When they gave it to Tebow, his team had 3 losses at the time and didn't even make it to the SEC championship game. Gerhart has an even stronger case this year than Tebow did when he won.

Gentlemen, Toby wouldn't have put up those numbers if he played in the SEC. He's a great back but Ingram will win it.

Interestingly enough, the guy that probably SHOULD win the Heisman is CJ Spiller. He's handicapped playing for Clemson. Did you SEE him last night??? unbelievable.......and ALL season??? The kid is the best football player in the country (imo). He's the most elusive, electric and explosive player I've seen in some time. He can take it to the house at ANY time, running, receiving, punt returns, kickoff returns and has even thrown for a TD. He's amazing. Too bad he plays for Clemson.

The award is for \"the best college football player in America\".....and I think its Spiller. It shouldn't be about your record, school or ranking........aaaah well.....Ingram will win it anyway.
