A point or two from Athens...

I was at the game last night, and I won't waste any space giving my in-depth analysis--most people seem to be spot on. I will say that I have NEVER booed my Dawgs--in fact, I never even boo the opposing team when they run on the field--but I did boo the Dawgs last night. Pathetic. I can't even come up with words to describe the train wreck I witnessed in the second half. And after leaving the game with the mass exodus with a couple of minutes to go (something else I have NEVER done), I really hope some boosters and alum are taking notice of the Dawgnation's frustration.

Coach Richt is going to dally around too long and he too will be out of a job.

Of course FSU would take him in a minute, but maybe that is not a bad thing.

The only problem sadlerdawg, you notice and I notice, but CMR closes his eyes and blames everything on turnovers and youth. I also believe that Damon Evans will not force CMR to make changes this year, He will put his trust in CMR and let CMR do what he wants. I really believe that no changes will be made next year, due to CMR thinks that we have had some bad luck the ball just did not bounce our way. We will be stuck with the same staff and most likely be sitting here this time next year saying how much longer before CMR can see the light.

Yeah, Duck, that scares me too. I don't expect any changes this off season either. I'm looking at 3-4 more years, same as FSU.

I guarantee you fellas if there are no changes in the offseason then I will marshall all my IT buddies from all the dark corners of the internet where self respecting adults ought not go and we will figure out a way to make some things happen.

Agree with kentdaddy . . . . Coach Richt dallying around is going to work against not only CMR, it is going to have serious consequences for UGA.

While Coach Richt is the leader, there are many in the UGA fold that have played and understand the game. Truthfully, it is hard for me to wrap my arms around the coaches/players quitting or so it appears in games like UF, UT and UK. When the faithful core of UGA football supporters and alumni like you and others leave Athens in that frame of mind, does not say much for the program under Coach Richt at this point.

With the talent we have in Athens, why are we on these boards discussing the UGA football team and our continued fall from where we should be. It falls on the leader of the Red and Black. Excuses not accepted here.

One last statement . . . . injuries don't seem to be a crutch for us this year.
