Anyone know anything about Zach Mettenberger?

For all the talk about Aaron Murray, I notice we have another redshirt QB in Zach Mettenberger. He was fairly highly touted at Oconee. He's 6'5\" #230, so he's got an NFL QB build and probably has the arm strength to go with it.

What's the word on the street regarding him?

UGAChemDawg, outside of JC and a little bit about LG, don't get a lot of information. Probably to be expected with RFreshmen. Do know that ZM and AM both have the arms to play the position. Really hope that both of these young men make the QB position a strength. Only thing that I have heard that makes me feel good about both is they are good friends.

The Things I know about him are, #1 He is not JC #2he will be at UGA next yr #3 I am sure he could have won 4 games by now also #4 I know he and A murray need to play now, and get real game exp. for next yr, so we dont have the same ole excuses and loose like we are now next yr. Face It the season is over time to plan for next yr, JC is a lame duck, no future in him for UGA nation, Only bad memories and apparently more bad memories to come from JC. Im no coach but I do have common sense, Why are we doing the same thing over an over an expecting a different result!!!

Almost forgot, M Stafford started after the Fla game to get exp for the next season so why keep JC!!

Shockley was never pulled for Stafford, you just don't recall the growing pains in 2006. We lost to vandy and kentucky that year.
