Anyone know anything about Zach Mettenberger?

ZM is very green and a long shot to play much at UGA. He's big and SLOW....big arm but in the spring game he threw 100 mph five yards passes and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. Actually don't believe he completed a single pass. Needs a BUNCH of coaching. Don't think he can possibly beat out Murray. Of course this is just my opinion.

Of course the way the QB situation at UGA is handled, maybe it will be LG that takes the top spot. I sure hope that Murray has learned the playbook come Spring. This QB thingy has me totally confused.

Seems like everyone, including myself, would like to see the young guys get a chance. I may be wrong, but I believe in CMR first year we played 2 freshmen qb's. Greene and Shockley. I don't even have a problem with it beeing Murray and Gray if that's who the feel the competition for next year is. Let Cox go ahead and get a start on his coaching career by signaling in the plays. I stated in an earlier post that I don't believe by playing the young guns it means you are giving up on the year. The worst thing the could do if turn the ball over and it seems that we are doing a fine job of that without them playing.
