.......is that we are slowly becoming FSU. Bowden never would fire anybody and neither will CMR. Sooner or later the top recruits will by-pass UGA and go to other schools. It's happen at FSU the last 6-7 years and it can happen to us if something isn't done to change up this coaching staff.

IMO.....keep Garner, Searels, CMR and fire the rest. Especially, Fabris, WM and Bobo.

FSU's problem right now is that they have 3 or 4 coach's with \"head caoch\" somewhere in their title! The kids dont know who they are suppose to respond to! Everyone here (I live in Tallahassee) is calling for Bobby's head now, at the start of the season they are calling for Mickey Andrews head.......Nobody here really knows what to do! I agree that in CMR doesnt make some changes things are gonna get bad, but I dont see us becoming FSU we h ave a long way to fall before that happens! Plus we all know Jimbo was NOT a good hire for a head coach!

Hence my title of \"long term\". These things don't happen overnight.

wlayton, I have thought a couple of times about saying what you just said in this thread. Remember that CMR was under the close watch of BB for many years. Coach Bowden knows that the end is near and you can bet he would love to have Coach Richt.

No doubt in my mind that we are witnessing some of the same characteristics in Coach Richt that have been abundantly clear with Coach Bowden over the years. I appreciate the special way that BB treated CMR and brought him along as a leader of men. At some point, all coaches have to develop their own \"system\" and pull away from old habits that don't seem to show promise in the game of football today. Same goes for any business person or leader in today's world. Change can and is usually for a specific purpose, that being to improve a groups status.

While I read in many threads that we are showing improvement, it is usually based on a particular set of plays or a quarter of so of football. I hate it. IN MY OPINION, UGA is slipping, and I want it to stop. Either quit talking about the super athletes we get each year to attend the University, or coach them up to their potential. If I never see another swing pass in the flats, that would be too soon.
