How does the 20th ranked team in the nation jump to #9 after beating the 14th ranked team in the nation, which subsequently falls out of the polls? That's exactly what Miami did in the AP, the same poll that dropped us after beating USC and has us 21 this week.

At least the AP doesn't count toward the BCS standings.
