The Auburn game worries me...

1.) Auburn appears to be getting back on track this year. 3-0 start with some pop in their offense.

2.) It is in Athens. Traditionally, the home-field advantage has been reversed in this series, with us winning at Auburn and Auburn winning in Athens.

3.) It is the week after the Tennessee Tech game, a soft opponent that we should beat by like 45-7 or so. Easy to get complacent.

In short, the Auburn game is positioned such that it has all the elements of a spoiler. I can see it coming from a mile away.

Every game worries me.

Auburn played a very good offense last night. Not so much a good defense. I'm not saying we'll beat Auburn (okay, I'm saying we'll beat Auburn. Like a DRUM), but we have a better chance than you might think. Look at what happened to Oklahoma State the week after they beat us. Look at what happened to USC the week after they beat Ohio State. Don't worry about Auburn until the week we play Auburn, because this is a week-to-week game. Look, we didn't look like we could score 41 points when we played OSU. The next week, we scored 41 points. Focus on Arizona State.

We can't look forward more than 6 days at a time.

Auburn? I'm worried about Arizona State.
