It's a brutal game. It was a lousy call, probably not a game changer.

I say it was a game changer BECAUSE that would have given us momentum. Momentum wins game, i.e. the 2007 Georgia-Florida game. A huge hit like that, that pumps up a Defense. The very next play could very well have been a pick-6 or just incomplete, then a blocked field goal. Do not say that one unnecessary penalty can not change the outcome of the game, because it can. BTW, it was shoulder to chest; there was no head involved.

Watch the video again and watch his head snap back. Again, four officials called it. Four flags. They discussed it. They didn't all get it wrong.

I think our special teams play or lack there of, had a bigger effect on the outcome of the game!

It's ridiculous calls anyway....geez, football is a tough sport....let um play ball!!!!

Besides, one of the duties of a safety is to make any WR very nervous about coming over the middle. He MUST make him pay!!

May as well put flags on the guys and save a bunch of money on equipment.

Is that the way Junior Rosegreen made Reggie Brown pay in 2004, or the way Keenan Jones made Mikey Henderson pay in the Sugar Bowl? Rosegreen knocked Reggie unconscious, while Jones ended Mikey Henderson's football career.

Hits to the helmet are dangerous and can seriously injure a player. I don't care how rough a sport football is, and I agree that sometimes referees protect both passers and receivers too much, but hits to the helmet must be prevented. Period.
