A Tennessee airport experience

A Tennessee airport experience was created by UGAUSFEngDawg
Proudly wore my official UGA Nike mesh embroidered red and black sideline shirt through the Knoxville airport today getting sneers and jeers from all the orange walking around there.

Got plenty of digs in at their pansy whiner of a coach Lane Kiffin.

What was super cool was a nice grandma of two who was a UGA alum/fan was decked out in her Dawgs attire, even had a nice black leather purse with a big \"G\" on it in red, black, silver & white. She had on a white straw hat that had the G on it and had a UGA class ring on. Class of 1959. We sat and talked in the terminal and she told me all about how \"soooooo cool\" it was to have been there when UGA I was alive and cheering on the Dawgs winning their first SEC Title under UGA I. We got some laughs at the gate from many UT gear wearing fans, but she said: \"let em' do their thang, they ain't no Dawgs sweet heart, and that's just plain ol' pitiful. But hey, they're from Tennessee so what do you expect?\"

Boy is it nice being a Dawg! And man am I ready for this season to get going. I'll be back regularly now that the off-season is winding down. Thank God.

FengDawg, my in-laws live in Tennessee (only until September, Jeebus be praised!), so everytime I go there I get hassled. Of course, perhaps it's the Georgia hat I wear there. Or the Georgia t-shirt. Or the plate on the front of my car with the big 'G' and the depiction of Uga. Or the Georgia wristwatch. Or the Georgia shoes.

You know what? I think it's the shoes that get 'em all riled up. Yeah. It's GOTTA be the shoes!

Also, I'm going to the Tennessee game this year, my first ever at Neyland Stadium. I'm taking my mother the UT grad with me. I can't wait to rub Smokey's nose in it...and Lane Kiffin's, too!

Can we start calling him CLF yet? Or maybe just The MP (The Mini-Pumpkin)? Actually, I've got a great nickname for him. The Minor Infraction, or TMI! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!

GO YOU BIG HAIRY DAWGS!!! September CAN'T get here fast ENOUGH!!!

Hey dapolla......we can also call him \"gang plank\". He's slowly walking down it as we speak.

Hey UGAUSFEngDawg, I can relate to the theme in this post. I live in South Carolina. The mark of a true fan is to show their support of their team in enemy territory. I went to a Clemson fan day a few years ago with a friend of mine, who is a huge Clemson fan. When standing in line, they were all talking about the upcoming season and who was going to do what for Clemson that year, when one guy turned and asked me what I thought about the upcoming year. When the group was told that I really didn't care, I was a Georgia fan, you could've heard a pin drop. You see at Clemson we are the bully, older brother. Their claim to fame is they kept Herschel out of the end zone. Well after a few tense moments, I couldn't help myself and let out a \"Go Dawgs\". I didn't make too many friends that day to say the least. :P
