Dawgs of the Week

15 years 4 months ago #22057 by dapolla
Dawgs of the Week was created by dapolla
As you all may remember, in the eight weeks leading up to the first game of the year, I post a Dawg of the Week each week along with a bio and an invitation for dawgs.com users to post their memories and thoughts about those Dawgs. We've profiled several in recent years (the two Davids, Pollack and Greene, Terry Hoage, Scott Woerner, Garrison Hearst, Rodney Hampton, Ray Goff and Theron Sapp among them), but I want to know who you'd like to discuss this year. Because, after all, we're coming up on that eight-week countdown! Repeats are allowed with good reason. Let me know who you want to talk about!

Believe we all trust your judgement on the names. You certainly have a better memory than 90% of us. That was a lot of fun last year, I'll see if my memory reveals a name or two. Great idea....:woohoo:

Thanks for the kudos, wlayton. You know, it popped into my head that I'd better go ahead and ask for names now because...MONDAY, JULY 6 IS EXACTLY EIGHT WEEKS FROM GAME WEEK!!!

Dawgs, it's time to start jumping out of your skins, because the countdown is on! Stevedawg, time to rev up the countdown clock. IT'S ON!!! IT'S TIME TO LET THAT BIG FAT NASTY HAIRY DAWG EAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

M Washington. Just for the class he brings to the table; that's good enough for me. Any young Dawg with that kind of character has to be a good subject for debate.

"The freedom of individuals to verbally to oppose or to challenge police actions without thereby risking arrest is one of the principal characteristics by which we distinguish a free nation from a police state."

Really enjoyed these threads last year dapolla; great idea!

I'd personally find great pleasure if some of our wise, senior members of the best darn forum in all the land would share their memories of the late, great, Erk Russell.
