averagedawg, about a week ago you and I posted in this thread. Guess what, here the violation pops up again. Personally, think that Kiffin is playing the NCAA and the national media to his own tune. Think that his time at USC proved to him that you can get away with NCAA violations. Lots of apologies, no suspensions, just a lot of media time. This continues, UT will be back, not unlike USC which has gotten away with this type of thing for years. Apparently CLEAN PROGRAMS don't mean a lot in this day and time. I will go in depth with this if anyone is interested. Level playing field, not media darlings . . . . thank you.
averagedawg, you are so right, however haven't seen a lot of NCAA action concerning Kiffin so far. Maybe the NCAA will wake up and recognize what this egotistical dude is up to. Until he gets (can't use the word) ***** slapped, nothing will change.
Tennessee reported its fifth secondary violation since Kiffin was named head coach December 1 after a new assistant in the football office posted to coach Kiffin's Twitter and Facebook accounts.
The posting on the networking sites Tuesday stated . . . . \"I was so excited to hear that J.C. Copeland committed to play for the Vols today.\" NCAA rules prohibit coaches from discussing a prospects. Copeland is a junior defensive end from LaGrange, Georgia until a letter of intent is signed. The comment was taken down after it was posted. One of Kiffin's previous violations involved mentioning a prospect by name on the radio.
