Interesting view into Owen's mindset. It shows his pride is not much different from most Dawg fans young and old. No better or more loyal fans in the land than the Dawg Nation. How many of you can say your hair stands on the back of your neck right before a home game when those seven notes are trumpeted from the corner of the upper deck on the South side of the stadium. Then highlights of Herschel,Lindsay and other Georgia greats play on the scoreboard while Larry addresses the Bulldawg Nation, working the crowd into a frenzy. Nothing better... almost nothing. Like I tell people all the time, \"If you're a Dawg, you just don't understand.\" Let's play one tomorrow!!!!

It's good to know how the players feel about wearing the \"G\". It makes you feel special because alot of schools don't have the tradition like we do in Athens. Maybe CWM will read his posts and \"get a clue\" what it means to represent the \"G\".

The sentiment which J. Owens wrote about is how I feel when I tell people I graduated from Georgia. Incredible pride and feeling like you were a part of something bigger than yourself. Good job, Jeff.
