I work with alot of Southern Cal fans and people who think the BIG TEN is the best thing that has happened to college football. which i dont agree with, so we have arguable debates on who is going higher in the draft, i believe Stafford will go first but everyone thinks Sanchez will but i give countless points about why Stafford is better and they throw it out the door using, USC comebacks about how great QB's they put out blah blah blah, and then we go to Running Back and we talk about Beanie Wells going first and i think Knowshon Moreno will go first, i just wanna know what yall think

Well Rocket Science isn't your profession if thats what your co-workers are saying. MS has always been the #1 pick overall on everyones draft board for months. San-cheese has dropped to 13th in the last week??? The RB situation is a little bit different because you can't go wrong with either back but once again every expert has KM being the first backtaken in the draft. Don't get me started on the Big 10+1 i will let someon else rip that one apart! Any hints who that could be::woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Don't get me wrong here MS might not be the overall #1 pick come draft day but he will be the #1 QB selected. But knowing Detroit they will draft MS. They just drafted Drew Stanton from Mich. State last year in the 1st round! By far the dumbest team out there and they blame the coaches. HA!

golferdawg is dead on. MS is projected as #1 or at least the #1 QB taken. I too saw Sanchez as low as 12 or 13....no contest on that subject. It's a coin toss on BW and KM and I've heard arguments on both being the #1 RB. BW is a more prototype NFL RB but had heard, like golferdawg, that KM will be the 1st RB picked. That one is harder to call. Bet a lunch on the 1st scenario.

I agree w/golfer & wlayton, NO DOUBT, Stafford goes before Sanchez. Beanie vs Knowshon is a tough call. I think the answer might become clear after the combines and specifically after they are both clocked in the 40 yd. dash. Neither has blazing speed a good, or conversely, a poor showing against the ol' stop watch could dramatically raise or lower each RB's draft status.

BTW, wlayton, in response to a previous post in which I referred to you as \"THE MAN\", NO, I had not gotten into the bottle that night. I was actually as sober as a judge while posting BUT as you know, some unusual thoughts pass through \"my sound mind\" from time to time.

Even though I agree with you all about MS being 1st QB taken, I kind of hope Detroit trades the pick down for a host of later draft picks and MS is picked by a better team than Detroit. No disrespect to any Lions fans in this forum, but Detroit is bad- very bad, historically bad! They need a lot more help than just a QB. If they pick MS, he might die in Detroit.
I also agree with you all on KM, it is a tossup between him and BW. I saw a complete first round Mock Draft yesterday. I think it was from Mel Kiper from ESPN, and he had MS #1 and KM #16, get this, going to San Diego. I hear grumbles about Tomlinson, but they also have Sproles, who was really stepping out in LT's absence. They also have Michael Bennett and Jacob Hester.

Beanie has durability issues and has been tagged as injury prone. KM did not have the same issues, but really only had two seasons taking big hits in games.

It definitely is a toss up. KM is working hard to get his 40 time up for the combine. I'll be interested to see what times he will produce.

No doubt Stafford will be the #1 QB taken. Right away I see two things wrong with the people you work with. They're USC fans and like the Big Ten. Consider the source!
